In the taproom for GABF week!

Mt. Massive - Imperial IPA (tapped now!) & Sunlight Peak - Session IPA (taps 10/11)

Mt. Massive - Intensely rich malt character and a blast of hops summarize this Imperial style IPA. Made with summit hops and dry hopped with El Dorado, there is a hop for everyone. But watch out, at 9.8%, it packs a punch leaving you light-headed as if you were atop Mt. Massive at 14,421 feet. From the Sawatch Range, Mt. Massive is the 2nd tallest 14er in the Rockies so oxygen isn’t as plentiful. Strangely, the flavor in the beer by Pateros Creek is…

Sunlight Peak - For the hophead that can’t have just one, this lower alcohol version of an IPA is lower in malt so that the hop bitterness really stands out. Made with Fuggle and Tetnanger hops, the noble spicy hop character is profiled nicely as it doesn’t get drowned out by malt. Named after Sunlight Peak located deep in the rugged Needle Mountains, it rises to 14,059 feet but you better bring your rope to scale this class 4 climb. Or better yet, just grab this session-style brew from Pateros Creek.

For Great American Beer Week, we are tapping two great IPA's for the series. These are in the taproom only and show the full spectrum of alcohol forthe IPA style from 9.8% down to 3.4%.
